The Convent of San Francisco is located in a small town called LUGANO IN TEVERINA, in the beautiful Umbria region of Italy. It is only 100 Km away from Roma and 200 Km to Florence in Toscana. It is a strategic point from which to visit other cities of great historic, gastronomic and cultural interest, not to mention the many water sulphuric Roman baths that can be found in the area and where a dip can be an extraordinary pleasure thanks to the properties healthy waters. Therefore is recommended to visit the Baths of the Popes, the Park of Monsters in Bomarzo, cities like Orvieto, Viterbo and Amelia, and the most famous as Assisi, Perugia and Siena.
